[Actually, a LOT odd and more than a little unnerving, but M'gann isn't going to let that show in her face or her words. She continues to face the screen with a friendly expression, instead.]

"But you know, according to the calendar it'll be Halloween soon...At least on Earth! And I know on Earth, there's this great tradition of dressing up in costumes. I was just thinking, since I already have my costume figured out, and since I'm pretty handy with sewing,"

[Thank you, Conner, for giving her plenty of ripped and torn shirts to practice that skill on.]

"Maybe I could help out, if anyone wants to dress up when it's time?"

[Because looking at you, she can see POSSIBILITIES, Shinji. That much is clear from the way her eyes light up on the video screen.]

"I bet you could pull off some costumes! Like, maybe a bear...?"

[He sort of reminds her of a bear, at least. And M'gann herself is doing a pretty good puppy imitation, with how big those eyes are as she watches the screen.]

[What? Dressing up? Why would he do that? He is not allowed to have fun anymore.]

[You know what? She's going to just take that response as a 'sure, I don't mind, keep going with this line of thinking.' It doesn't hurt that she's well warmed to the idea now.]

"There's other things I'll bet you could go as! Like...What's your favorite animal? Or your favorite superhero, maybe? Or...I think professions are pretty popular, too."

[OMG HE LOVES PUP-no. He must control himself, though if Megan is watching him, she might catch his eyes light up for a brief moment. Dogs are the best, but...]

I ain't wearing a dog costume.

[Since his eyes light up for only a second, then M'gann is more than happy to catch that spark and hold onto it in her own expression. Because this, right here? This is definitely a start when it comes to ideas.]

"What about just a pair of dog ears? Or...Maybe a costume of someone who works with those animals a lot? I'm sure there's work arounds, if you like dogs."

[Yeah, she DID catch that, and she's determined to follow that subject now.]

"There's probably going to be a celebration going on."

[Based on past experiences, that seems quite likely.]

"Maybe you should wear a costume to that! I could help make one for you, too...You know, since I've been learning to sew. And to repay you for those um...Those really interesting cookies."

[She wants to call them tasty but...Well, she can remember at least some of the side effects they brought about.]
