"Okay, so...I know things have been a little odd lately."
[Actually, a LOT odd and more than a little unnerving, but M'gann isn't going to let that show in her face or her words. She continues to face the screen with a friendly expression, instead.]
"But you know, according to the calendar it'll be Halloween soon...At least on Earth! And I know on Earth, there's this great tradition of dressing up in costumes. I was just thinking, since I already have my costume figured out, and since I'm pretty handy with sewing,"

"Maybe I could help out, if anyone wants to dress up when it's time?"

Any suggestions for a first time trick or treater? [He says this with a bit of irony, considering he's too old to do that sorta thing and his sweet tooth wasn't quite as ravenous as others could be.]

"Maybe...Well, I always thought it was good to go as something you kind of like...Or something you think is kind of scary? That's what I've seen from TV, at least; it's this sort of weird balance where people on Earth try to make whatever scares them a little less frightening...Or they just go as something they think is interesting."
