[Kara beams at the camera as she makes her introduction. She's been here a little while already, but she figures a late intro's better than none. Plus, she's bored and needs more people to be in contact with.] Hey, everyone! I'm Supergirl! [She gestures to the S-shaped crest on her chest.] I'm an alien from a planet that's gone now, but Earth is my adopted homeworld. I'm new in town, obviously, but I'm hoping I'm gonna make a big splash.

[She shifts forward, hovering midair and resting her head on her hands.] I've got a bunch of superpowers if anybody needs anything, um... supered [yes, she did just make that word up] or we could just hang out. I dunno.

Hi! [And she's totally lost her momentum. Ending transmission now.]

As far as monikers go it's hardly the least original he's ever heard- particularly when he goes by "Soldier" these days- but it's the oddly familiar crest that catches his attention first. Hmm. He's not sure why it rings a bell, but until he figures that out he's happy to ask the next most obvious question.]

What sort of superpowers do you mean?

I'm super strong, I can fly, I'm really fast, I can see and hear like EVERYTHING... [She counts powers off on her fingers, trying to make sure she remembers all of them.], uhhh, there's freeze breath...

Oh! And I can shoot lasers from my eyes.

[That's one hell of a list, even as far as most choujin go. The name suddenly seems far less audacious.

He can't quite withhold a quiet laugh at the question, though- she's the irrepressible sort, isn't she?]

You tell me. You've already given me more than enough. [He cocks his head.] Even with the range of people here, I don't think you'll have to worry too much about making an impact.

[…Who should she be for this call? M'gann really doesn't know, and her skin jumps between green and caucasian as she tries to decide and looks at the recording. It's more luck of the draw than anything else, that her skin settles on green when she reaches the end of the message, and hits the call back.]

"Um, hi to you too! A-again; I know we've met before. But, like I said, I'm M'gann. And..."

[Come on, she reminds herself that she can make conversation go more smoothly.]

"I heard from a friend that you wanted to learn how to sew? So maybe that's something we can do?"

[She gives the screen a hopeful look.]

[She stops mid-word, going a little red as M'gann wonders how well known Superboy is; after all, she didn't know about any Supergirls, up until now. She tries to steer the conversation away from that, repeating herself and using a different name.]

"...Sewing up Conner's shirts. He has some bad luck with getting them torn up a lot."

[She's just trying to make sure she's actually understanding this correctly. After all, human-looking aliens are actually kind of a rarity where she comes from, and even then most have usually got some readily identifiable non-human traits about them.]
