...oh, did I just- whoops!

[The post starts off with audio...though from the sounds of it, the person posting didn't do it on purpose. He doesn't sound too upset about it, though, nor does he scramble to turn anything off.

And, despite the 'whoops', it doesn't sound like he's breaking the terminal or anything.]

So I guess if I do this...[The video flickers to life, showing a surprised, but happy teenage boy. He seems pretty impressed by this whole posting to the network business.] Neat!

I've never seen a computer with something like this before. The "network" thing connects to everyone in the city. So, even though it feels like I'm talking to myself right now, I'm actually talking to everyone. That's really, really cool!

[Gosh, he looks and sounds so excited about this whole thing. It's really new and awesome to him, okay?]

It would be great if we had something like this back where I came from. Would make it a lot easier to keep up with my friends, that for sure.

Well, I'm Sora! I haven't been here for very long, but I've met a lot of good people so far. Even if this place is kind of different from other worlds I've been to...

Actually, I'm kind of curious - have any of you been to worlds other than your own before coming here? I was actually trying to go to another world when I wound up here instead, but I'm not sure if that's how it happened for anyone else.

Anyway, I think that's everything. Um...bye! [He smiles and waves, a little awkwardly - talking to a video is weird! Then he leans over the screen again, mumbling to himself as he looks around for how to turn everything off.] Now how do I- oh! [And there it goes.]

What world was that, Sora?

What, which world I was trying to go to? It's kind of hard to explain.

As for your question... I wasn't doing anything like that when I got here. My world used to be split into two-- but someone put them back together.

Is it really that easy for someone to travel between worlds?

Yeah, I can! [He's still excited about this whole video chat thing okay.]

Well, it's not easy! Most people can't do it. But it's kind of my job to go to other worlds and help people, so I do it all the time.

[Though, actually, it's been little while since he's done real worldhopping, outside of his trip in the Realm of Sleep. He was kind of grateful for the vacation, though.]

And...you said your world was split into two? What do you mean?

[He's curious, both because it's strange and because it sounds familiar. Does she mean like what happened in the dream worlds, he wonders?]

Wow, that's your job? That's amazing! How do you do it?

[She tilts her head a little, thinking.]

Well, one half was hidden from the other. I'm not sure of the specifics, but they were on different... dimensions.

My friends and I traveled around in a Gummi Ship! I think there are other ways to do it, but that's the best way.

[No, it hasn't occurred to him that no one else knows what that is.]

So, it was like they were the same place, but...separate, somehow? Because if that's it, then I think I kind of get it.

How does that even work? Wouldn't it fall apart before you got anywhere? What about people trying to eat it?

Ah-- yeah! That's exactly what it was like! Now that they're one, things are kind of crazy, but... they're getting better.

Define "other worlds".

[This reply is slow - he isn't really sure how to define it. Other worlds are other worlds! But...he can give it a shot?]

A world that isn't the one you came from, I guess. I don't really know what you mean.

[Okay, he was planning on being as vague and unhelpful as possible but he'll give you a break here, junior.]

So, another dimension as opposed to another planet?

More like another planet? Except it's different.

Hmm. Your home world must be pretty different from this one if you've never used a computer before.

[... well, neither has he, really, but that's more because he's never seen the need to rather than simply not having them.]

I've used a computer before! But none of the computers I've used had anything like this before.

Actually, there aren't as many computers where I'm from as there are around here, so I guess it's still a lot different.

I came here from Earth -- or from an Earth, but I was born on another planet. But I wasn't trying to go anywhere when I wound up here.

What are your other worlds like?

Earth? I've never heard of it! But I guess trying to go to another world has nothing to do with winding up here.

[Sora's not too worried about that, though - it was just a thought.]

Other worlds where I come from? [The question surprises him, at first - other worlds are other worlds, as far as he knows - but when he think about it, it really does seem like the people here all come from very different places. Could the worlds he knows really be different somehow from the ones everyone else here knows? Maybe. Makes about as much sense as anything else he's heard here.]

Well, they're all really different! Some are really big, but a lot of them are smaller. There are really normal towns like Twilight Town, and then places that are different, like...Halloween Town is all spooky and strange. Atlantica is underwater, except I guess there's a city on land there, too, and Simba's world only has animals, I think! There are also big castles, like the one the Beast lives in...

[Sorry, Kara. You kind of opened the floodgates with that question.]

And that's just the start! Not to mention all the worlds I haven't gotten to see yet. There are a lot.

They have worlds the size of towns where you're from? [She sounds a bit confused. They don't exactly sound like planets...]

Well...yeah. Is that weird?

Yeah, worlds are supposed to be the size of... worlds.

[But those are the sizes of worlds, he doesn't understand...

Or, maybe, if he gives himself a minute or so to think about it, he does.]

I think the worlds that I'm used to and the worlds that you're used to are different. There's a story where I'm from that might explain it.

Us? We're… going where the sun is shining, through the pouring rain. [half-slipping into song there, since… well, those are lyrics. It's sort of true, in a very stretched kind of way.]

Well, kinda! [The Realm of Sleep is made up of the dreams of everything, so...] I think what I was looking for was more just in my dreams, though. It's complicated.

Seems like they'd be the easiest to navigate, yeah. Unless you fell into one of the ones where it's basically a big maze every which way you turn, I definitely passed that fountain three turns back, what gives.

Going where the weather suits my clothes. [he is definitely being deliberately obtuse, and in short sleeves right now. temperature wise he seems okay.]

So you were going somewhere warm? [Geez, what's with all the roundabout answers?] Sure, that narrows it down.

Might be, might not be. We're just going to have to see. [beyond 'another Sburb session', he doesn't really know, and he doesn't really want to have to explain Sburb to anyone else. Sburb sucked, end of story.
