[Kanonno can be seen tilting her head back and forth for a couple times before speaking. She knows what she wants to ask, but she's still wrapping her head around the fact that she needs to ask in the first place. It's August? When did that happen? And what do you mean she's been asleep this entire time?

Anyone perceptive might notice she's using one of the terminals near the hospital, because well... she's been in a coma this past month. ]

Could someone fill me in on what's happened this past month? The last thing I remember is a few days after the new district opened up, and... that was a while ago.

There were intermittent power outages across the city. Toward the middle of the month, a new wave of people arrived. Finally, a festival spanning a few days was held.

The arrivals were around the 18th, right? Oh no... I told Mai I was going to help out when that happened. I'll have to apologize to her later.

[There are probably more pressing things to worry about, but that's her first reaction.]

I don't feel sick, but when I woke up today [not that long ago actually], I was in the hospital. Apparently I've been asleep all month and they did some tests, but they didn't tell me much.

I don't remember feeling ill before it happened either. And I usually keep up with the touch thing too.

That is highly unusual... If you notice any lingering side-effects, do not hesitate to return to the hospital.

In the meantime, you may want to ask if anyone else has experienced that.

[Kanonno smiles fondly at his answer. She finds it a little silly that he reminds her right after she said she would, but that's okay.

You were out for a while, huh? There was a big festival a few days ago... The power flickered, before that, but... I don't know. I don't think there was anything else.

It's really been a while, though. Are you all right? Did you forget to get your hugs in or something?

I'm alright! A little confused, but otherwise fine. [Kanonno flashes a big smile at the camera. See?]

I don't think hugs was the problem though. I'm pretty good at keeping up with that kind of stuff.

If you say so... [Nope, not really convinced. She's heard this one before.] Take it easy, okay?

I don't get it. What could the problem have been, then...? [A pause.] Well, I'm not sure it matters, huh? What's important is that you're okay now.

[a small laugh.] You're right. While it'd be nice if we could find out why so it doesn't happen to anyone else, I can't think of that many reasons. Even so, the doctors that looked after me are probably trying to find out the same thing.

I'll hold you to that! Anyone that gets hurt where I can see them gets a stern lecture and a hospital trip! [It's in almost a teasing tone, and she's visibly trying not to giggle.]

I wouldn't worry about it too much, I guess. If it happens again, we'll gather information. If not, well, then it wasn't much of an issue, was it?

I don't know if I like the idea of letting someone else fall asleep for a month before doing anything... but if I'm the only one so far, I'll hope it stays that way.

[She won't promise not to worry, but she'll try to leave it in the back of her mind.]

So how have you been? I haven't seen you in a while, even without the whole coma thing.

It was a little bit of an isolated case, really, but... we'll keep an eye out.

[She shrugs.]

Things have been... pretty good, honestly. I've been trying to get out a little more, and someone from the place I came from before this showed up a little while ago. I've been in a pretty good mood since then, all things considered.

That's good to hear! Though now you reminded me that I have to catch up on if any of my friends arrived last month. [It's so much easier to do that when everyone's gathered in the plaza. Oh well.]
