For those of you who knew him, Kaworu Nagisa has left this place. I might presume he has returned to his home, to fulfill whatever duties he must. I am also aware that he is not the only one to vanish. This begs the question:

Given my circumstances... as well as Shinji-kun's circumstances. It seemed the better course of action. Because of that, Kaworu's departure surprised me.

Yes, I doubt that too. However, that means... we might be sent back at any given time, on a whim. It makes me wonder if there's any rhyme or reason to it.

It seems like it'd be pretty counter productive to the point of this place if people were just sent home at random.

I am not certain, but places like this do not send you home easily, not until you have done what they ask anyways. [And even then, Suzaku wasn't sure] I disappeared from such a place before, and I ended up in a grey featureless room, I am not sure how long I was there but I ended up here not long after.

[Kaworu should be used to such rooms, considering his upbringing, but it's still less than ideal.] Did they hurt you? In that room.

No. As far as I was aware I was completely alone.

[He frowned] I was one of the last to disappear though, before the city I was in was destroyed. I have no idea what it was like for those that vanished earlier.

Did he leave anything behind? [It wasn't like they had stolen memories to leave here, but Suzaku was just trying to work out all the similarities and differences, to understand better]

I didn't visit his dwelling.

Would you think that significant? I suspect he kept only minimal personal belongings.

I'm not sure, but it might be. Where I was before here people would leave memories, and also upgrades to their weapons, I'm not sure why or what it symbolised though.

I also wonder. Though the presence of both of us at once was certainly abnormal, and I wonder if that had any part in it.

It's certainly possible. Perhaps we've found an unstable loophole in the entire system here.
