[Asuka - the eyepatch'd one - comes onto the screen... and looking none too good. Pale, bags under her eye and shivering despite a blanket and a heavy jacket. Yeah. Even her voice is hoarse:]

Anyone wondering about that side effects thing... well, it's pretty fucking confirmed. I'm about three weeks in; haven't touched anybody. Said I would a while ago; experiment.

Fever, headaches, sleep disruption... I think I'm starting to hallucinate. I'm calling it off.

They're not lying about that.

[There wasn't much, except perhaps the possible end of the world, that could stir Mari to action as Auska needing her for something. To that end, it only took her a few minutes to get to where she needed to be.]

[Mari didn't have to be asked twice to hug Asuka and quickly made her move wrapping her arms around the the red-haired girl and holding her close to her chest.]

[Mari continues the embrace, holding Asuka close enough to seem as if she never wants to let go.]

[Snapping out of her blissful state for a moment, Mari finds enough time to answer Asuka.]

Eh, never mind. Carry on. [she hadn't been aware of how stiff and pent up she'd been getting over these past weeks; it's only with Mari's embrace that she's finally been able to relax and even recognise the signs.]

[Returning to her cuddling, Mari maintains a more gentle pace of hugs and occasionally stroking Asuka's hair, having expended a good deal of her pent energy with her last back breaking embrace.]

My schedule is as open as it could possibly be, so I'd be more then happy to stay as long as needed to make you feel better.

I didn't exactly think of anything.

[she had slightly stupidly thought of the recovery phase as akin to a hospital visit; ie laze around doing nothing until her body's back up to speed. She had been planning to just go through her notes, but she forgot to factor in the 1x Mari hanging off of her and making that idea all kinds of awkward. Besides she's... weary, tired, exhausted, comfortable really all she wants to do is sleep.]

I've been taking lessons like once a week. I still sort of suck at it, but I'm doing my best and am sure someday I'll be able to do something worth showing off.

Like I said before, you should drop by sometime when your feeling better. It'd be soooo much fun.
