Ah, yes... the young ones always did enjoy being cryptic and terrifying those deaf to the cries of many.

"Return" refers to the unrest felt by those who would stand against the actions of the scientists. "Take back what is ours" is quite simple, and childish for those over one hundred years old.

They feel slighted by being forced to watch in slums as the fractured government refuses to aide us. Partly due to the actions the young have done against the scientists, and partly because they thought us gone. When man is denied basic rights and needs, when those you perceive as family hate you... they become self-fulfilled monsters.

As for the symbol... it is an omen of destruction. One of which bad men and women brought upon themselves a century ago.
