[Well, it wasn't as though most people stayed on their first time even when properly saddled... but Ramza still winced at Gold's less successful efforts. Maybe he should start seeking out leatherworkers after all, and start with a particularly well-padded set of pants...

but Gold's persistence was admirable even so, and his efforts got him on the bird's back by his third try. Ramza lets out a sigh of relief once Gold manages to stay on longer than a few seconds. He was halfway to asking Boco to toss out a heal or two.]


It's not so different from leading her by the front... most would urge her to turn by a gentle pull of the reins, and a press from your heels if you'd have her sprint. [Almost for emphasis, a gentle pull on Boco's reins had him turn to face his daughter and her rider.]

But you know Chobo better far better than I... you alone would know how to lead her and have her heed it.
