[ The silver-haired boy can be seen munching on a box of takeout, presumably from one of the Beachside Shack restaurants long before he ever makes a sound that's not chewing or slurping. Even though the feed's on. ]
Alright. [ Kanata finally says, though there's a long pause filled with eating. ] Since you all already here seem to have a good idea of what's goin' on. [ Another bite of some sort of chicken. ] Tell me what all this touchin' is really about.
[ There's a small scene of choking; the poor soul's embarrassed himself. Also, if someone is questioning his ignorance, he was asleep and drowsy through most of the introductory period. ] I mean...I'm not stupid, I get you're supposed to go around hugging and everything! But we don't have to hug people right? We can do handshakes or somethin' else...I'll be the first to say none of you are getting a hug from me! I slap on the back or a fist to the stomach if you try, even! At least, without asking first.
[ He goes back to sheepishly eating his chicken. ] I just don't wanna have to go around huggin' people if I don't have to. Or if there's another option. I'm just not in the mood to keep on bein' sick, is all...
B-...but anyway...! If all we gotta do is go around giving high fives and whatever to power this stupid city, let's get on it! I've got a home to get back to! [ And thus he goes back to eating and fuming in silence. ]
