[Technically, the Pokemon had arrived with the others on the 18th, but he had done his best to remain inconspicuous and had slunk away soon after receiving the welcome letter. Feel free to have seen a giant cat monster skulking about in the corner and flying off, but there's no indication that this message is from the same individual. He'd rather keep his face off the network for now.]
How simple life would be if I were unable to feel empathy. Even when I have been taken forcibly from my home and given absurd demands...
But no matter.
I have many questions, but I imagine my fellow captives have little in the ways of answers. So I will ask for your opinions instead.
What do you think of nonhumans? I have seen a surprising amount here that are clearly of other species. It intrigues me...

It is both a gift and a curse, is it not? Empathy has taught me so much...yet it has also awakened me to the pain of others...have you never wished that you could stop feeling, even for a short time?

Some feelings are unfortunate to have yes. But, sensing the pain in others allows me to understand them. It inspires compassion. When we reach outside ourselves to help others, we become more than we are.
[Wing would like to answer no to that last question, but the honest truth kindles and old, distant pain.]
