[Technically, the Pokemon had arrived with the others on the 18th, but he had done his best to remain inconspicuous and had slunk away soon after receiving the welcome letter. Feel free to have seen a giant cat monster skulking about in the corner and flying off, but there's no indication that this message is from the same individual. He'd rather keep his face off the network for now.]

How simple life would be if I were unable to feel empathy. Even when I have been taken forcibly from my home and given absurd demands...

I have many questions, but I imagine my fellow captives have little in the ways of answers. So I will ask for your opinions instead.

What do you think of nonhumans? I have seen a surprising amount here that are clearly of other species. It intrigues me...

Mythological creatures are what my people tend to call them. Some believe they truly exist, but few have ever found worthwhile proof. It's nothing more than a fairy tale, really.

Well, anywhere, to be quite honest. In a way, I do owe him my life.

Yeah? Not sure about the possible-scientist options here, but you sound good for the line of intel when it comes to getting out of this place. There're a few people here already workin' on it. That's what I'm here for, it seems. For now anyhow.

Very much non-fictional. I am deadly serious, and I do mean that literally and on a global scale.

Human, Martian, Angel, Robot, and Cat. And those are just the ones I know about.

Then what are you referencing? Aliens? Robots?

One of my friends is a dog, so it was the first thing that came to my mind.

[No lie, he adores Koromaru, just like the rest of the dorm members. Their doggy friend is totally awesome!]

There does not seem to be a formally organized group at the moment. Not yet, at least.

The vast majority are currently gathering information on their own while speaking of their findings to others every once in a while. It will be difficult to find them unless they decide to speak to you over the matter. Sometimes you will need to initiate conversation, as well.

There is more as the young lady before me as mentioned. I currently separate the groups into two to make the situation a little more simpler than simply offering a number of the different groups. It is much easier this way until we find an easier way to learn of all the known groups. [Because everyone usually has a different name for their own species just like his group does.]

[The list will make him feel more at ease as he quickly realizes that he was not added to the list.]

I do believe the giant mechanical robots count if they hold their own personality and world of their own. As for the rest, I believe it sounds about right.

Non-humans is a pretty broad category!

I've had a mix of experiences, to be honest. I couldn't develop a general opinion, since there're both good and bad of humans and non-humans alike! But I'd say the good definitely makes up for the bad!

Some feelings are unfortunate to have yes. But, sensing the pain in others allows me to understand them. It inspires compassion. When we reach outside ourselves to help others, we become more than we are.

[Wing would like to answer no to that last question, but the honest truth kindles and old, distant pain.]

Hmm. Yours is perhaps the most reasonable opinion of them all. It is true - there are both good and bad nonhumans, just as there are both good and bad humans.

In truth, I expected less intelligent responses.
