I'm looking for people to train with who battle with animals. I'm a pokémon trainer, but if you don't use pokémon we can see if it works out.

We'll be in district 4 if you want to meet and talk about it. We're on the side without any markings on the map. I'll check back on this too but it won't be until later.
[ like hours laters. maybe even coming close to night time kind of later. he's using a terminal okay. ]

Also, if anyone has food they can't use we'll take it. Hard or mouldy or anything like that is fine. It's for one of my pokémon. Thanks.

[ Action ; district 4 ]

[ And like he said, Red and his pokémon can be found in district 4. They've taken up one of the spots that... actually, they've been using for a while since being here, only moving to a different location if anybody else got there first. But such occasions have been far and few between, thankfully.

Which pokémon can be found battling against each other all depends (on you). Sometimes it's your basic one on one match, sometimes a two on two -- maybe even, there'll be a three on three battle going on. The matches will look entirely unfair at times to those not familiar with pokémon (or any type of RPG tonberry), with a tiny yellow rodent going up against a six foot massive panda or an oversized mutant not-ninja turtle blasting off jets of water towards a dragon-like creature with a flame on the tip of its tail, but that's pokémon for you.

But for all the crashing, throwing, blasting, frizzing, and all that lovely chaotic stuff they seem to be lashing out at each other, they're being mindful to keep it around themselves as best as they can. Feel free to hear it or see it; it's probably not all that hard if you're around district 4 anyway.

It's not all just intense training 24/7, of course, and maybe when your character comes around they won't be practising at all! There's break times to be had of course, and that's the time for them to get all close together, sitting on the ground with Red sometimes fussing around them to see how they are. Got to make sure to keep up that touch quota, after all. Or even have lunch. Everybody loves lunch. ]

[This is it.

A chance to battle. A chance to crush some stupid kid's dreams by showing them they're not all that.

So he goes. He's not sure who he's expecting exactly - he hadn't checked the name or anything, just glanced at the message and went straight for it - but it isn't the guy who wrecked the old man.

And it's gotta be him. Silver hadn't seen the battle himself, but he'd been old enough to get around and listen to the grumbles and mutterings of that cowardly team about the child who'd been ruining their plans. Hot anger rises up first for it -- how dare that punk make a mockery of Team Rocket -- and second for feeling the way he does about it. Honestly, he should thank him for putting his cowardly old man out of his misery.

But he can't help but hate the guy.

Silver watches off from a distance, arms crossed. He's looking for any of Red's secrets to his success, any weakness or chinks in their armor. He's not so sure he could take him on, but his team isn't going to get strong sitting around and sleeping all day either.]

allbymyself: how does this (03. how do you even)

[They're cleaning up, so Silver starts over. He's not sure if they really can take on a group of fully-evolved Pokémon, but Typhlosion's at least the level for it. He'll address Red once he gets over there, tense and arms crossed.]

Your team seems strong. [Anger bobs up, and he pushes it back down with difficulty.] Too bad they're wasted on someone like you.

You look weak. [That's it. That's all the reason he needs to not like someone and to think their Pokémon are wasted on them. He usually means it too, but -- Red? Nah. He doesn't. It's just conversation.

Silver glances at the Pikachu - what a well-trained pet - and snorts.]
But you've beaten Giovanni before, right?

[The name is gross in his mouth and he wants to spit it out.]

[Oh, you did not.

The reaction is instant -- Silver's hand goes right for the ones clipped beneath his jacket. One, two, three; he finds the one he's looking for and lets it out. Typhlosion flares out his flames when he comes out, and Silver almost snarls:]

Don't compare me to those weak-willed cowards! I'll make you eat those words!

[It's a challenge, even if it's put rougher than any Red's likely ever gotten.]

[He's gonna make it quick? Yeah, right. That tiny rat's not gonna do anything to his Typhlosion -- he's sure of it.

If you don't mind, Red, he's taking the initiative.]

Flame Wheel!

[The Typhlosion runs right -- then turns back towards Pikachu, curling his body into a wheel. The fire from his neck and tail covers him as he rolls at the small yellow mouse, momentum gaining on the flat ground.]
